Observatory for Stigma in Mental Illness. Monitoring of the representations and attitudes of the Portuguese population towards mental illness.

Bicho de 7 Cabeças

Bicho 7 Cabeças is an initiative developed by the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Laboratory, aimed at enhancing mental health literacy among the Portuguese population, a key priority outlined in successive National Mental Health Plans.

VRacno

Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy for the treatment of Arachnophobia is a groundbreaking approach to overcoming the fear of spiders. This innovative treatment immerses participants in a safe, controlled environment, allowing them to gradually face and conquer their fear in a supportive and effective way.

Projeto Ser

The Project Mental Health, Stigma and Resilience aims to contribute to the fight against stigma associated with mental illness through dialogue between science, health and society. It is an initiative of professionals from the fields of health, research, culture, education and social communication, linked to reference institutions.

INZONE

INZONE is an inclusive space, prepared to receive children, youth and adults, allowing people with specific needs to enjoy a football game inside the stadium in a safe, controlled environment without sensory overload.
Throughout the game, a team of highly qualified health professionals, including occupational therapists, is permanently in charge of monitoring the game to facilitate the experience and provide all the necessary support.

EsquizoVR

Virtual reality software designed to promote empathy and understanding toward individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia offers an innovative and immersive way to bridge gaps in awareness and foster compassion. By simulating their experiences, this technology helps users gain deeper insights into the challenges faced by those living with the condition, ultimately contributing to greater social inclusion and support.
